Hello, my name is Rocky and I am the proud owner of Fairy Tails located in Cloudcroft, New Mexico. I moved from my small town located in upstate New York to New Mexico due to my partner who is a pilot for the U.S. Air Force. I only intended to be here for two years or less. However, I have come to love and adore the community so much I decided to stay and open up my own business. That business being this one, my own groom and boarding facility!

I started grooming when I was 19. I became a lead volunteer for a small grooming and boarding facility called Leos n’ pals. I mentored under a skilled groomer who had decades of experience. From there, I worked under dozens of other groomers while I moved frequently due to my partner. While I was moving I had the opportunity to pick up dozens of techniques on how to groom, train and handle dogs and cats. Since moving to New Mexico I experimented with many career paths, including vet technician, grooming, training and even working at a local shelter for a little bit. I worked multiple jobs at the same time until I had the opportunity to work with Kathy, The previous owner of K and K Kennels. Kathy helped me achieve one of my lifelong dreams. She helped mentor me in owning a business and running a boarding facility so I have the opportunity to do I love which is caring for your precious family members!
